“Announced” means the date a venue’s own feed shows as when the listing was first published. That is a proxy for when the public could first have seen it, not a guarantee nobody heard about it earlier through some other channel. Where a venue’s feed doesn’t expose that field, or where a cross-check shows the field can’t be trusted, this page says unknown rather than showing a guess.
